Magnus Nnaemeka Nzenwa is a member Chartered Institute of Social Work Practitioners of Nigeria, a member Centre for Crisis Prevention and Peace Advocacy, and an aspiring Ph.D. student who holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work and a postgraduate diploma in Social Work from the prestigious Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Ogbomoso Oyo State Nigeria and a Higher National Diploma in Architecture from Federal Polytechnic Nekede Owerri Imo State.

My research interests are in issues and solutions relating to older adults, gender-based violence, harmful traditional practices like breast ironing, child abuse, and mental health. He has published in local and international journals on critical prevalent social issues in Nigeria. Magnus is a recipient of awards and training which includes but is not limited to Camp Coordination and Camp Management Cluster and United States Institute of Peace Certificate on Conflict Analysis.

I have worked with organizations of international repute in different capacities including the National Human Rights Commission (Nigeria), United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, and nongovernmental organizations like African Volunteer for Women Empowerment (AVWE) as a mental health officer (volunteer), Academy for Health Development (AHEAD) as the State Coordinator/ Supervisor for IPAS Sexual and Gender-Based Violence Project in Nigeria.

I currently work as a Medical Social Worker with Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital Complex (OAUTHC) in Ile-ife Osun State.
