Newlands Farm Ltd., a leading dairy farm in Canada, is currently seeking dedicated and skilled Dairy Farm Workers to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for individuals who are looking to work in the agricultural industry and are seeking visa sponsorship. As a Dairy Farm Worker, you will be responsible for various tasks related to the daily operations of the farm. This includes feeding and milking cows, cleaning and maintaining barns and equipment, assisting with breeding and calving, monitoring cow health and welfare, and ensuring overall farm cleanliness.

Responsibilities:

1. Feeding and milking cows according to established schedules
2. Cleaning barns, equipment, and milking parlors
3. Assisting with calving and breeding activities
4. Monitoring cow health and welfare, reporting any issues to management
5. Maintaining accurate records of daily activities
6. Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are met throughout the farm
7. Assisting with general farm maintenance as required

Requirements:

• Prior experience working on a dairy farm is preferred but not mandatory
• Physical fitness to handle the demands of the job (lifting heavy objects, working outdoors in various weather conditions)
• Able to work well independently as well as within a team environment
• Excellent communication skills (English language proficiency is required)
• A valid driver’s license may be required for certain positions
• A willingness to learn and adapt to new farming practices
• Flexibility with work hours (including weekends) as needed in a farming environment
