We are a growing company that provides reliable and efficient transportation services to locals and tourists in Revelstoke and the surrounding areas. As a Bus Driver at Revelstoke Transfers, you will be responsible for providing safe and comfortable transportation to our passengers, ensuring there satisfaction throughout there journey.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate buses and transport passengers to there destinations
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies
- Ensure the safety of passengers by following established procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any passenger inquiries or concerns
- Maintain cleanliness of bus interior and perform regular vehicle inspections
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and passenger counts
- Follow schedules and ensure timely arrivals at designated stops
- Assist passengers with loading/unloading luggage if necessary
- Attend training sessions to stay updated on safety procedures and regulations
Requirements:
- A valid Class 2 or 4 driver’s license (or equivalent)
- Prior experience as a professional bus driver is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with local routes and roads in the Revelstoke area is an asset
- A clean driving record with no major violations in the past five years
- Able to pass a criminal background check and provide references upon request
- Excellent communication skills and a customer service-oriented mindset
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Able to handle stressful and challenging situations calmly and professionally
- Legally eligible to work in Canada with Visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates
