Stone Square is one of Old Stone Boutique Hotel’s many architectural features that pay homage to Niagara Falls history. Its unique look comes from the fact that the building was once known as White’s Mill and obtained its elegant appearance in 1904 when flour making was going on inside of it. Nowadays, we use the old stone (hence the name “Stone Square”) for our dining room and patio as well as for our guest rooms across the street which were made with more modern flare. It just goes to show how diverse architecture can be, with some buildings retaining their original look while others are rethought from new visions!
